One of the original bands in Denton’s “Fraternity of Noise” in the early 90’s — Baboon made a name for themselves across the state with a raw live show steeped in punk and garage rock. Their 1999 EP, produced by the Grammy Award-winning John Congleton, was the perfect blend of their early in-your-face sound paired with beautiful, timeless melodies. Songs like Lushlife and Angels became live staples for the band, and still anchor their performances to this day when they reunite.
