The debut album from Bobgoblin, Jet took the North Texas music scene by storm in 1994, immediately establishing the band locally and propelling them to a major label release to follow. Tracks like “Nine” and “Pretty In My Uniform” were frequently heard on alternative radio and the band’s live shows became legendary spectacles. With roots in punk, new-wave, and 70’s glam, the fully clad Bobgoblin (in numbered uniforms and helmets) were striking visually, and backed it up on Jet. Their razor sharp melodies, angular riffs, and conceptual approach to rock n roll turned listeners into card carrying members of their “Black Market Party”.
