Pleasure Club Here Comes The Trick
DFWLS-040
Make no mistake — Pleasure Club was born and bred in New Orleans, the brainchild of lead vocalist James Hall. At the same time, the band carried deep roots in the North Texas music scene through drummer Michael Jerome, formerly of local greats Course of Empire, Pop Poppins, and Toadies. Rounded out by Grant Curry (James Hall, FLOOD TWIN) on bass and Marc Hutner (Sugartooth) on guitar, the band’s 2003 debut album is a force to be reckoned with.
Here Comes the Trick seamlessly blends driving guitars with intimate, emotionally charged lyrics, sounding just as immediate and vital today as it did upon its original release.
Remastered and available on vinyl for the very first time, this limited edition pressing is cut on Purple Marble Coast colored wax and limited to 250 hand-numbered copies.
